Welcome to our Establishment!

Our personally-managed small Hotel is centrally located in a sunny spot just five minutes’walk from Locarno train station, the public transport hub.

Our hotel is over 100 years old, but has been carefully renovated according to ecologial construction criteria. Since 2004, it has been run as a “Bio-Hotel”with six bedrooms. We took over this magical place in 2009 and made additional technical improvements in order to lessen its environmental impact (roof and windows insulation, use of solar energy).

The establishment is set in a wild, romantic garden. Its  intimate little squares – the pergola, the rose pavilion, the gnarled olive tree – are the ideal place to linger, relax and read.

Guests are welcomed in a brightly-lit entrance area with wooden flooring, original stone slabs and a chimney. The room is particlarly appealing thanks to the fresh bouquets of flowers and elaborate details. Illustrated books about the district of Locarno and a selection of excursion tips and restaurant recommendations can be found in the hotel libary.
